AI in visualizations - support, not a solution

Yes, I use AI in my work. But not in the way you think.
AI as a support tool, not a foundation
In my studio, AI plays a supporting role - I sometimes use it to generate quick textures, test color concepts, create background fills, or correct certain details. This saves time and allows me to reach the final vision faster. But the key difference? For me, AI is 5-10% of the process, not 100%.
Why AI alone is not enough for your product
No control = no professionalism
Have you generated a beautiful image in Midjourney or NanoBanana? Great. But does the product have the correct proportions? Can you repeat the same effect for 15 color variants? Can you change the camera angle by 15° while maintaining consistency? AI can't do that. In addition, there are often errors in the foreground and background that we don't immediately notice, and the overall feeling is that something isn't quite right.
“AI style” is not your brand
Customers recognize AI aesthetics - overly smooth surfaces, characteristic lighting, strange details. This does not build a professional brand image. In addition, AI images often contain subtle errors - incorrect shadows, strange reflections, unnatural proportions - which we unconsciously perceive as “something is wrong here.” This spoils the professional perception. My 3D visualizations are precise, consistent, and 100% controllable.

Copyright – a gray area
An AI image means legal uncertainty. Who is the author? Can you use it commercially without risk? With my work, you get full rights, a clear contract, and a guarantee of legality.
Repeatability for the entire product line
Do you need 20 shots of the same sink in different colors? A furniture catalog with identical lighting? Online configurators? AI cannot guarantee consistency. Professional 3D visualization can.
Where AI really helps
- Quick mood boards for presenting concepts to clients
- Filling the background with decorations (plants, accessories, art on the walls)
- Testing alternative lighting styles
- The final “brush stroke”
But the core - the product model, materials, lighting, composition - is professional work in 3ds Max.
What you get when you commission me to do the visualization instead of doing it yourself in AI
- Full control - every detail exactly as you need it
- Repeatability - dozens of variants in the same style
- Precision - dimensions, proportions, perspective at the millimeter level
- Clear rights - no legal gray area
- Professionalism - consistency with your brand, not the “AI style”
- Flexibility - any changes at any time
Summary
AI is a great tool that I use to work faster and more efficiently. But the key difference between an image from a generator and a professional visualization is control, precision, repeatability, and the human factor.
If you need a quick mood board for an internal presentation, AI is enough. But if you care about sales materials, catalogs, e-commerce, or campaigns that build a professional brand image, choose a proven solution. Choose 3D visualization from a professional who knows AI but knows when not to use it.
